Shannon had presented this fiscal year to date, with a profit of 20,894.07, stated that if we did not have to pay the 33,000 we would be looking at a profit of 15,000 for FY 2011-2012.
- Summer Program/Summer Concert Series
Kelly Cournoyer informed the board that our summer program went well. Judy Lopez Recinos questioned our summer concert series, and she felt we should not have done and felt it was a waste. (CORRECTION)Judy Lopez Recinos, “thinks that it was a waste and it did not pan out.” She stated, she heard a few things from a couple of parents and she thought they made a good point on a couple of issues. Burrillville Extended Care is paying to put on a concert to the general public, which they felt their kids would benefit for the money going towards them. So I am going to enjoy a concert these parents are paying and they felt that the money should be staying and they made a valid point. She stated this is the first time it happened and wanted to bring it up for discussion.”
Lisa Nault informed the board she does not feel they will do it again.
